Introduction
Welcome to my Peru 2007 web page!
Here you will find photos and notes from a 7 week trekking and climbing expedition to Peru that I did in June-August 2007. The trip comprised three separate expeditions, all based from the town of Huaraz which nestles among the Peruvian Andes at an altitude of 3100m. The trip included both trekking and mountaineering, and culminated in an ascent of Huascarán, Peru's highest mountain.
