It is steeper than the photo makes it out to be. You have to clamber through the fallen burnt tree and then up to where the photo was taken. A hand line can be placed here but it is very steep and loose. Care must be taken. You can leave your pack at the bottom.

You can do this without a pack, and a hand line will be setup. The sticks provide a foothold for the descent.

There is plenty of room to step around the rock but it does take you close to the cliff edge. To protect you here a rope can be set up so you are tied in when skirting around.
